Day 1 – Arrive Bangkok
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to the hotel. After check-in, enjoy the evening at your leisure to get settled in and relax.
Day 2 – Bangkok
After breakfast, meet your guide for a full-day city tour of Bangkok. Our first stop is the Grand Palace complex, where you will stroll the grounds while visiting several of the most important buildings. The Grand Palace was the seat not only of the king and his court, but the entire government administration. The architecture is vibrantly Thai, though there are some European designs as well. Brilliantly colored and gilded, and decorated with intricate detail, the overall effect is dazzling. The most famous building on the palace grounds is Wat Phra Kaew (Temple of the Emerald Buddha), regarded as the most sacred Buddhist temple (wat) in Thailand. Also within the grounds are several palaces, used for various occasions: the Funeral Palace, Reception Palace, Throne Hall, Coronation Hall, and the Royal Guest House.
After visiting the palace we will enjoy a short ride via tuk-tuk around the old area of Bangkok, ending at a local restaurant for lunch. This afternoon, we will visit Wat Pho, the most extensive temple in Bangkok and current home to the reclining Buddha, which is 150 feet long and covered in gold leaf. It also is the national headquarters for the teaching and preservation of traditional Thai medicine.
For dinner this evening, rejoin the group and prepare for a spectacular show! Housed in a richly-decorated pavilion and offering a menu of exquisite Thai cuisine, you’ll enjoy the city’s most spectacular cultural performance and dance show while you dine!
Note: The Grand Palace requires the following dress code: shirts must have sleeves, pants must be full-length and loose-fitted (no leggings). The cultural performance is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Day 3 – Bangkok
Today we will head out of the city to explore the ancient capital of Ayutthaya, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This great center of power lasted for four centuries before it was sacked by the Burmese in 1767. The 400 years of the Ayutthaya period were an importance era for art and architecture, encouraged and patronized by wealthy temple-building kings who saw themselves as the cultural inheritors of previous Southeast Asian empires. The result was an architectural gold mine, plus a high level of achievement in sculpture, painting, and other fine arts. You will spend most of the day visiting this historical park and its famous ruins. Return to the hotel and enjoy the evening at your leisure.
Note: The Bang Pa-In Palace in Ayutthaya requires the following dress code: shirts must have sleeves, pants must be full-length and loose-fitted (no leggings).

Day 4 – Bangkok
Depart for Ratchaburi Province, approximately 60 miles west of Bangkok, for a visit to the colorful Damnoen Saduak floating market. Upon arrival in Damnoen Saduak, you will enjoy a long-tailed boat ride to the floating market where you will see local vendors paddling their wares such as fruits, vegetables and trinkets from wooden boats. You will have the opportunity to both observe the market and purchase some of these items as you float by. After the market visit, you will re-board your coach and continue to Phra Pathom Chedi Pagoda, the tallest stupa in Thailand. Enjoy free time for lunch before heading back to Bangkok.
This evening, embark on a dinner cruise on the Chao Phraya River. As you dine, you’ll admire the majestically-lit historical sites nestled along the river bank–such as Wat Arun, the Royal Palace, Assumption Cathedral and more.

Day 5 – Seoul
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and transfer to the airport for your return flight home, or to the cruise port for your cruise.

You may also use a third-party visa service, such as Expedited Travel. These services require an additional service fee but make the process of applying for a visa much simpler.
